Package: gnucash
Version: 2.2.9-0.2
Severity: important
I can't figure out how to edit transactions that involve shares.
Working on the share account I can't figure out any way of editing
the transaction so that I can set the quantity or the price without
having one of the quantities I have just edit reset (rather than the one
that I did not edit or have blanked). For example, if I edit 'Buy' and
'Shares' I am prompted for the value to be recalculated, choose 'Price'
but find that in fact 'Price' is set to 1 and 'Shares' is recalculated.
Severity important since as far as I can tell this feature is completely
impossible to use; I really can't see any way to edit transactions in a
meaningful fashion.

I’m closing this bug, since my understanding is that it is now fixed,
and the submitter did not object.
