to be marked as done.
This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.

Package: turba2
Version: 2.1.3-1etch1
Severity: normal
When trying to send emails to contact lists, with some of those lists
in particular, users get the error message "There was an error sending
your message: Group name did not validate". So far I have not been able
to find out why some contact lists do have this problem and others do
not.
In horde's log file I see a similar error message:
HORDE [error] [imp] Group name did not validate. [on line 1042 of
"/usr/share/horde3/imp/compose.php"]
A little googling led to the following URL:
http://lists.horde.org/archives/imp/Week-of-Mon-20070319/047117.html
This claims the problem is fixed in Horde 3.1.4, but I'd think this is
probably more of a Turba or IMP bug. I did a quick search through
Horde's bug system, but did not find a bug report about this there.
So, this bug is probably fixed upstream in which case I would like to
ask for that fix to be backported to debian-stable.
Regards,
Peter Paul

As the original reporter is unreachable, and as the report is on an
very old version of turba, I'm closing it.
