Hi,
I want to install squeeze per netinstall, booting from USB flash drive
(on a lenovo thinkpad edge 11, amd64).
Put this iso file on the flash drive :
http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/6.0.1/amd64/iso-cd/debian-6.0.1a-amd64-netinst.iso
The machine booted on the drive but right after "Welcome to grub!" it
drops to the grub rescue prompt.
greetings
Joz

Most likely it was a BIOS disk limitation and a separate /boot was
required. Since no answer from reporter, closing the bug
