Package: nvidia-xconfig
Version: 290.10-1
Severity: important
Hi,
I would like to take advantage of hardware acceleration, it does not work by
default [1]. I then tried to install latest nvidia-kernel-dkms from testing.
Everything install properly (congrats). However when generating the default
nvidia-xconfig -> xorg.conf file I keep on getting:
(II) Primary Device is: PCI 00@00:02:0
(EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
It looks like I am in a weird situtation where I have two VGA controller:
$ lspci| grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Sandy Bridge Integrated
Graphics Controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Device 0df5 (rev a1)
I have not been able to find documentation on how to generate a proper
xorg.conf in this case. Thus I am filling this bug against nvidia-xconfig.
Thanks !
