Package: libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0
Version: 2.24.1-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

The package libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 installs with names as follows:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0.2400.1
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgdk_pixbuf_xlib-2.0.so.0
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgdk_pixbuf_xlib-2.0.so.0.2400.1

Note the underscores in the names - everywhere else '-' (minus/dash) is used.
Existing packages expect '-', not '_' and therefore breaks on linking.

I don't know if the same occurs in 32-bit version or not.

Thank you

Huh? It has always been this way. For example in squeeze:
/usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0.2000.1
/usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf_xlib-2.0.so.0.2000.1
/usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf_xlib-2.0.so.0
/usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0
