This bug is based on a discussion and discovery in an Ubuntu bug [1] in the
lazarus package currently in the Ubuntu development branch (Precise).
The point is that after you installed several version of lazarus (and fpc by the
way) without removing or purging the old ones, your alternatives for lazarus
will
contain several versions. Because they are ranked equally, you can get an old
version used by default instead of (by me) expected latest version if you have
alternatives set to auto mode.
