Severity: normal

I have ZFS filesystem using FUSE, and everytime i copy/move something to it,
or from it to itself using F5<Enter>, file loses all UNIX permiosions.
(and ACLs and xattrs).

When i change in file dialog "Preserve attibutes" it works properly.
But i need to do this everytime I copy something.

This especially irritating when i move something and i forgot to do this.
I just lose all attributes! (Executable ones are most irritating).

`mount`:
sctank2/Users on /sctank2/Users type fuse (rw,allow_other)

`cat /proc/mounts`:
sctank2/Users/baryluk /sctank2/Users/baryluk fuse
rw,relatime,user_id=0,group_id=0,allow_other 0 0

using zfs-fuse

Package: mc
Version: 3:4.8.1-1

According to upstream this problem is solved.
In the ChangeLog for version 4.8.1 (since 4.8.0) they say:

> In "Copy File" dialog the "preserve Attributes" checkbox is always
> unchecked for filesystems mounted with FUSE (#2254)

  https://www.midnight-commander.org/ticket/2254

I'm closing this bug as I'm unable to reproduce it with 4.8.1.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to [email protected],
and the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.
