Package: samba
Version: 2:3.5.9~dfsg-1
Severity: normal

Since the update to 2:3.5.9~dfsg-1 smbd now spams the log with messages
like:

  smbd/server.c:281(remove_child_pid)
Could not find child X -- ignoring

This is a known problem which upstream has worked around by altering the log
level for these messages:

http://gitweb.samba.org/?p=samba.git;a=commit;h=9c12232f1ae36e00d04114ad73edd8ba3c2c6a5c

Could you please apply the upstream patch to the Debian built version?
Thanks!

Arjan
