Package: icedove
Version: 2.0.0.9-3
Severity: important
When icedove is set to update via RSS from Israeli forum site Tapuz
(http://tapuz.co.il), each time it tries to update it detects some of
the messages in the forum as "new", and adds an extra line for them.
I have gone over the XML, and while I'm no RSS expert, I saw no server
side reason for this behavior that I could detect.
A sample URL that exhibits this behavior:
http://www.tapuz.co.il/forums/main/rss.asp?forum=284
To reproduce the problem:
- Subscribe to the above URL
- Click "Get Mail"
- You should get 10 new messages - mark them all "read"
- Click "Get Mail" again
- You should see about 5 of the message duplicate themselves
- Click "Get Mail" again
- The other 5 will now duplicate themselves
This problem does not happen with the version of icedove that came with
Etch.

I can't reproduce this behavior with the actual versions in sqeeze and
wheezy. I think this is fixed in the between time. So I close this bug.
Please feel free to reopen a new bug if new problems occur.
Thanks and regards
Carsten
