Package: apt-dater
Version: 0.8.4-4+squeeze1
Severity: normal

Hello,

it took me quite a while to find the reason, but it seems like apt-dater doesn't always use the configured ssh options. I tried to set a custom SSH key file by adding '-i ~/.ssh/apt-dater_rsa' to OptionalCmdFlags in [SSH] section at ~/.conf/apt-dater/apt-dater.conf.

Upgrading or installing packages uses the ssh options as configured, but refreshing package lists doesn't. To me this was quite confusing. I suggest to use the custom SSH options everywhere. Or even better, add an extra config option SSHKey which is used for both SSH and SCP/SFTP.

Regards,
 jonas
