Package: gnome-bluetooth
Version: 3.2.1-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I found that libraries in this package cannot be found by ldd and so I
think all package rely on they don't work properly:
$ ldd /usr/lib/gnome-shell/libgnome-shell.so | grep "not found"
libgnome-bluetooth-applet.so.0 => not found
I notice also that:
$ /sbin/ldconfig -p | grep bluetooth-applet
$
I'm not sure that ldconfig must cache these libraries or not (they are
on the /usr/lib special directory, but they also have a subdirectory).
Ciao
Davide

Hi!
The problem in Debian bug report #651460 is not reproducible, seems
impossible given package dependencies and noone else has reported it
affecting them.
The only likely explanation I can see for the reported issue is some kind
of local system modification.
No matter what, if gnome-shell is linked against something which can
not be found then that's a problem with the gnome-shell package.
If anyone is still being able to reproduce the problem then please
report a bug against gnome-shell (so we can get the full details from
reportbug of gnome-shell) and maybe add a reference that it's a followup
to this bug.
