When I tried to run icedove with the -g option I received the following
error but the icedove window failed to appear:
After installing icedove-dbg and trying to run icedove with -g, I
received the following and no icedove window appeared.

Hello Arthur,
after all this years, I belive this problem is fixed since many
releases.
I have no problems to start the icedove-dbg in squeeze and wheezy too.
So I will close this bug.
Please feel free to reopen or open a new bug if something is'nt working
well in the paket icedove.
