Package: libgssglue1
Version: 0.4-2
While trying to install nfs-common, I've discovered that one of the
dependency (libgssglue1) fails to install. Every subsequent operation
leads to a Segmentation fault and an error at system boot. Reverting
the changes introduced by the installation of this package fixes the
problem.
Here is a transcript:
root@lophilo1:~# apt-get install libgssglue1

Problem seems to be linked to changes in the /lib/ld-linux.so.3 and
/etc/ld.so.cache (reverting these files also makes the system bootable
again).

Upon further investigation, it seems this was due to a misconfigured system
with incorrect libc setup; /lib contained a bunch of broken
lib*-2.11.3.sofor reasons I can't figure out at the moment. moving
these files out,
apt-get update, apt-get -f install libc-bin fixed the problem and I was
able to successfully install nfs-common.
