Hi,
The printer.schema shipped by the cups package is outdated; the
printerType attribute is missing. Using the schema as is results in a
non-working setup.
Attached is an updated schema and the same in LDIF form.
Please discuss this issue with the Release Team; this should be fixed for
Squeeze if possible, or in the first point release.

Hello Julien,
The printerType attribute is now present in the printer.schema so this
should rectify a non-working setup, which was the thrust of your report.
Please submit a new bug report if you wish the schema to incorporate
any further changes.
