Package: iceweasel
Version: 2.0.0.14-2
Severity: normal

It happens both with and without -safe-mode

Accessing certain pages makes CPU usage raise 100 or near. I've detected it
accessing news in www.elpais.com . Since going to the same news page sometime
causes the problem and sometimes not, I think it is centered on publicity shown
in the pages, mainly animations.

How to reproduce: Navigate to www.elpais.com and open several tabs with several
of its first-page links. I bet than before opening the fifth one you will note
the CPU load. Even without top (or cousins of) you will detect 100% CPU usage,
making the system quite irresponsive but not unusable.

Closing all elpais.com tabs without need to close the whole windows drops CPU
usage to normal levels.

Note: on my two-core system, CPU usage reaches 140% when adding up all
/usr/lib/iceweasel/firefox-bin processes
