Hi!

/usr/share/doc/debian/bug-maint-mailcontrol.txt states, in part:

| unarchive bugnumber
| Unarchives a bug that was previously archived. Unarchival should
| generally be coupled with reopen and found/fixed as appropriate.
| Bugs that have been unarchived can be archived using archive
| assuming the non-time based archival requirements are met.

However, http://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control#unarchive seems
to have a more detailed explanation:

| unarchive bugnumber
| Unarchives a bug that was previously archived. Unarchival should
| generally be coupled with reopen and found/fixed as appropriate.
| Bugs that have been unarchived can be archived using archive
| assuming the non-time based archival requirements are met. You
| should not be using unarchive to make trivial changes to archived
| bugs, such as changing the submitter; its primary purpose is to
| allow for the reopening of bugs which have been archived without
| the intervention of BTS administrators.

Please update the explanation in the package, so that other people who
(like me) take a look at /usr/share/doc/debian/bug-maint-mailcontrol.txt
without reading the web documentation too, avoid doing things that are
recommended against... :-(

Thanks for your time.

This bug is fixed in the latest release of doc-debian, thus I'm closing it.

Sorry for not notifying the fix earlier,
