Package: parted
Version: 1.6.25.1-3
Severity: wishlist

hello, i am attempting to reconfigure my hard drive and need to resize
my extended partition. parted is currently incapable of this operation.
if i do "rezize 4 8GB 20GB" i get the error message "Error: can't have
overlapping partitions."

this is a formal request for parted to support extended partition move
and resize operations.

please pass this message upstream if that makes the most sense.

thank you for your consideration.

mike
