Package: quilt
Version: 0.60-7
Severity: minor

It is handy when rograms to use directory names that make sense;
usually ones that reflect the programs that make use of them:

    Git         => .git
    Bzr         => .bzr
    Svn         => .svn
    ...

In next version, please consider moving to a more logical name for the
state information directory:

   Quilt        => .quilt

Sorry, this won't happen. There are too many tools that rely on this
.pc directory, starting with dpkg-source.

I agree it was a weird choice in the first place, but one that should
better be left alone.

Cheers,
