Now that icinga-web is in Debian, could you please add appropriate symlinks
so that the logos can be used from it?

The links must be in the following path:
/usr/share/icinga-web/pub/images/icinga

So e.g.
ln -s /usr/share/nagios/htdocs/images/logos/symbols 
/usr/share/icinga-web/pub/images/icinga/symbols
