Package: pdftk
Version: 1.41-2
I downloaded the file
http://www.cimt.plymouth.ac.uk/projects/mepres/book9/y9s10pba.pdf
and can read it fine using Acrobat reader on Linux (I will send you
the password privately). However the command
pdftk y9s10pba.pdf input_pw ***** output y9s10pba-nopw.pdf
gave the error message:
Error: Failed to open PDF file:
y9s10pba.pdf
OWNER PASSWORD REQUIRED, but not given (or incorrect)
Errors encountered. No output created.
Done. Input errors, so no output created.
Any suggestions what I might have done wrong or what I could do to fix
it?
Julian

I just tried this with the current testing version of pdftk, and lo
behold - it now works!
So I'm closing this bug report.
