Until the purging order issue is resolved, packages should be expected
to fail if they use a directory established by a non-essential
dependency. In the interim, it would be useful to treat leftover
directories differently than other objects.
The following github branch splits the warn-on-leftovers-after-purge
option into warn-on-leftover-dirs-after-purge and
warn-on-leftover-files-after-purge.
git: [email protected]:davesteele/piuparts.git
branch: leftover-dir

This was part of my flailing around #671629 / #611418. This doesn't
look like the way it will be solved. Closing.
