Package: smbfs
Version: 3.0.0beta2-1
Severity: normal

When trying to move large files (100MB+) from a win2k server to my linux box
over smbfs, it will just sit there until it finally "times out" and gives an
(Input/output error). I've tried with smaller files of just a couple bytes to
larger ones of 20MB or so, and I have no problem copying them.

I ran an strace on the cp/mv move process, and it just sits at:

read(3,

for a long time, and then it errors out by completing it:

read(3, 0x804b388, 4096) = -1 EIO (Input/output error)

When this happens, I can't use a ctrl-c to break out of the out of the file
process, I have to kill the PID itself.
