While attempting to install Debian Squeeze in a Virtualbox VM.
Created an 8Gb Virtual disc
Chose the graphical installer
Chose seperate partions for /home /usr and /var
Accepted default partion sizes and install options.
Added graphical desktop and ssh server to purposes
Allowed install to run to completion.

After first boot, got a message to say that /usr had no disc space left.

I was able to fix the problem by running GParted on the virtual disc, but a
more novice user would be stuck.
I think that LibreOffice is using a lot of space, and making the default
partion sizes invalid.

Perhaps the installer should ask user preferences for what classes of app to
install before defining the default partion sizes.

Hi David,

As far as I know some work has been done in this regard since you file
this bug. Kindly test a newer version of the installer and if this is
still an issue report a new bug.

I'm closing this one because it is filed against an unexisting package
(the correct package would be 'debian-installer').

Kind regards,
Andrei
