There is a new upstream release which addresses several (to me) important
issues. Most notably, it makes getmail behave rationally when interrupted
via Ctrl-C.
Also, it looks like it should contain a fix for #513116 (see the release
notes for 4.38.0).
There are several other desirable new features in the intervening releases,
which are especially useful to anyone trying to use getmail to backup a full
IMAP account with folder structure, esp. a GMail account.
