When walking up to another person in the game, a text bubble normally
appears, but they do not contain any text at all, just cryptic messages
like "__sage_pompon_0__0" (see the attached screenshot). I thought it
could have to do with my default locale (nl_NL.UTF-8), but even if I
start it with LANG=C, it shows the same messages.
