Package: mc
Version: 3:4.8.5-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

when running 'mc /foo /bar' normally mc starts up with the right
panel in /foo and the left panel in /bar (or whatever was saved
with the setup last, if only one argument).

Since the recent sid upgrade, instead, /foo is put into the left
panel wrongly, and if /bar is given it’s ignored.

This impedes my workflows quite severely.

I think this bug report is incorrect. When I start `mc /tmp /var` MC
starts with left panel in /tmp and right panel in /var. This is quite
intuitive and I have reasons to believe that such behaviour is
deliberate.

I'm sorry but I would suggest trying to adopt to new behaviour.

New versions of MC sometimes introduce functional changes... Feel free
to discuss new MC behaviour with upstream developers if it doesn't
make sense to you.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you have
further comments please address them to [email protected], and
the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the
results.
