Dear Maintainer,
In bug #607693 we see that a security problem was fixed in upstream
version 2.6.18. This version was uploaded to unstable, but apparently
it was never sent through security for the stable version.
Is there anything I can do to help getting the new version go through
security?
I must add that I recently reported another security problem directly
upstream; the maintainer said that he would be releasing a fixed version
shortly. Perhaps it'd be wise to wait until 2.6.19 shows up.
