Package: gnumeric
Version: 1.10.8-1squeeze5
Severity: normal

Running under German locale, if I enter
Fenster- und Türenabsicherung
gnumeric changes this automatically to
Fenster- Und Türenabsicherung

There is no rule in German to capitalize after a hyphen, quite the
contrary.

If I switch off autocorrection, the correct capitalization is not
changed.

Upstream developer commented:

You can use Tools->Autocorrect to include any strings after which you do
not wan to capitalize. If you do not want to capitalize after hyphen
just add a single hyphen to the autocorrection list.

There is nothing for maintainer left to do about this problem so I'm
closing this bug.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to [email protected],
and the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.
