Package: python-minimal
Version: 2.7.3
Severity: minor

The past discussion said that we’d follow upstream decisions (even if
some are not happy with them), but, since PEP 394 was draft, and some
weren’t happy with it, debian would deviate.

Since Feb 17 2012, The PEP is accepted:
http://mail.python.org/pipermail/python-dev/2012-February/116594.html

I cite:

* python2 will refer to some version of Python 2.x
* python3 will refer to some version of Python 3.x
* python should refer to the same target as python2 but may refer to
python3 on some bleeding edge distributions

So the python2 symlink has to be recreated. feel free to also change
the python symlink to python3 ;)

As a arch desktop user with a debian server and a raspbian raspberry
pi, i wasn’t happy when i discovered that there is no way to write a
shebang that makes my scripts work on every distribution, and i hope
it will be fixed in testing, soon.
