--- Begin Message ---Package: tcd-utils Version: 20061127-2 Severity: minor Running restore_tide_db /usr/share/xtide/harmonics-dwf-20070318-free.tcd foo produces a foo.xml which has a header claiming encoding='ISO-8859-1' whereas it seems to be utf-8 in the entry for Rincon Point, Pier 22½ the 1/2 symbol being the utf-8 in question. There's more similar ones in harmonics-dwf-20070318-nonfree.tcd. Most of the German place names seem to be in utf-8 whereas 8859-1 is in the header. (The latest and greatest tcd-utils-20080820 seems the same.) -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-486 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages tcd-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.7-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libtcd0 2.2.2-1 Tide Constituent Database (TCD) li tcd-utils recommends no packages. tcd-utils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
