Package: fcitx-frontend-gtk3
Version: 1:4.2.4.1-7
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

when the fcitx input method is activated, a small status window appears,
indicating the currently selected input method, whether half or
full-width characters are being selected, etc. This window is very
small. I have not yet found a way to configure the size of this window.

Attached, you find a small image indicating the problem.

Kind regards,
--Toni++

This is not a bug, but a feather, all CJK input method is designed like this.

If you don't like it use can use other UI gnome-shell-extension for gnome-shell,
KIMpanel for KDE.

If you'd like this classic ui and dislike the bar, you can still disable it.

$ fcitx-config-gtk3

Goto "Addon" lable, highlight "Classic: Classic UI interface with skin support"

and click the "Configure" button at bottom.

In the popup window, you can see "Status Panel Hide Mode"
