Package: fcitx-frontend-gtk3
Version: 1:4.2.4.1-7
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
every few attempts, I lose the ability to activate fcitx while in vim
by keypress. In that case, I get quoted ^Z in my editor window. A
typical scenario is my reading email in mutt and also composing some,
and every other or every third message at the latest, I cannot turn
fcitx on by pressing Ctrl-Shift-Z (the keypress that I have configured
in the configuration window).
With some fiddling, I can then usually enable fcitx by using the mouse.
I use it with a plain awesome and roxterm as the terminal program
(the standard combo).
Kind regards,
--Toni++

This is not a bug, you should use im-config to set proper env.
include GTK_IM_MODULES, QT4_IM_MODULES etc
