Subject: libgdb-dev: missing .a files
Package: libgdb-dev
Version: 7.4.1
libgdb-dev has:

libbfd.a
libiberty.a
libopcodes.a
libgdb.a

but it's not enought for rebuild fpc with gdb support in fp (Texmode IDE).

I think this list must be in libgdb-dev:

libbfd.a
libdecnumber.a
libgdb.a
libgnu.a
libhistory.a
libiberty.a
libopcodes.a
libreadline.a

Since libgdb.a has been dropped upstream, we've dropped libgdb-dev
entirely now, and fp is going to need to come up with a different plan
for debugger support.

(For what it's worth, I get the impression that IDEs linking against
libgdb have tended not to support the version of gdb in the archive at a
given time anyway, so in the end this might actually save trouble.
Sorry about any inconvience in the meantime.)
