for now dependencies look:
dep: libmysqlclient16 (>= 5.1.50-1) [not mipsel]
MySQL database client library
dep: libmysqlclient18 (>= 5.5.24+dfsg-1) [mipsel]
MySQL database client library
vtk should also for not mipsel depend on the newer libmysqlclient18.

That hasn't been true in quite a while, and wasn't a vtk bug in the
