Package: capplets
Version: 1:2.4.0-9
Severity: whishlist

Subsystem: keyboard brake enforcer.

Thank you fro the fonderfullt "Take a brake!" feature! My back is
thanking you tens times a day.

There is only one proble with this applet - it activates when I watch a
movie, which is not really an intedned behavior.

i hope this is easy to fix by either monitoring keyboard and mouse
activity and only counting the time the user actually does something or
having a way to disable this feature temporary from the icon while
keeping the icon on the toolbar.

Hi,

These bug reports are on very old package with minimal information
stating only "I have problem" and not-so deep discussion. Or
discussion died down and it is sitting there for years. These are most
likely fixed in the following release.

  * Debian stable is GNOME 3.4
  * These bug reports are for GNOME 2.x series.

As I checked BTS looking for http://bugs.debian.org/692453 , these old
not-so-useful bug report corpses came to my attention.

Let's close these useless bug report so we can find real bug and fix
them like I did for #692453. If you still face problems, please reopen
this bug with clear indication how to reproduce them.

#387468 should have been fixed by upstream since no repeat bug report.
#468179 seems to be a bug caused by other package.
#473370 seems temporary upstream bug. No response to the confirmation.
#545075 is the same situation.
#634026 seems to be a bug caused by other package.
#315328 This typo was reported upstream around 2.15 and no more
        discussipon here
#248449 upstream fixed report and no confirmation by OP
#301015 sounds like user system config issue.
#302416 no recent updates
#306139 no response by OP
#311430 no recent updates and another caplets bug
#443770 ,,
#459584 no response by OP
#470228 no recent update and very vague
#491689 no response by OP and bug on old texting 5 years ago
#492321 no more report ... x has changed since then.
#516126 not bug to start with?
#436887 no more report ... probably fixed

Do you still have this problem with GNOME3?
Things have changed a lot. So keeping these as they are serves nothing.
#594437
#598722
#498589
#511999
#525051
#627496
#632345
#563759
#646532 (UI details are best discussed with upstream)

#318804 per-window keyboard layout behavior is not selectable
This may be still valid but with upcoming GNOME3.8 with ibus this will
be non-issue very soon. Since no one cared for 3.4, I bet this was
fixed in some way back then too. I may be wrong here.

Thanks,

Osamu
