Package: libboost1.49-doc
Version: 1.49.0.1
Severity: wishlist
While reading boost doc at:
/usr/share/doc/libboost-doc/HTML/doc/html/program_options/tutorial.html
There, I found
| In this section, we'll take a look at the most common usage scenarios of the
| program_options library, starting with the simplest one. The examples show
only
| the interesting code parts, but the complete programs can be found in the
| "BOOST_ROOT/libs/program_options/example" directory. Through all the examples,
| we'll assume that the following namespace alias is in effect:
Where is this "BOOST_ROOT/". Well, I now know I should have realized
"HTML" was symlink to HTML in /usr/share/doc/libboost1.49-doc so it
means "/usr/share/doc/libboost1.49-doc/examples/".
I think it will be nice if libboost-defaults makes at least symlink
from "/usr/share/doc/libboost-doc/examples/"
to "/usr/share/doc/libboost1.49-doc/examples/"
and also change text
from "BOOST_ROOT/"
to "/usr/share/doc/libboost-doc/examples/"
Then it will be one patch to the source and file can be found always.
This may be some upstream bug since
http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_51_0/doc/html/program_options/tutorial.html
has this text and no link.
