Package: xemacs21
Version: 21.1.10-4

When using the speedbar on a latex document, if you click on +, it expands
to a ? rather then the subsections within the file.

If you select "display ... active buffers" from the menu obtained by right
clicking on the speedbar, then click on +, a box pops up saying:

" The directory containg
/home/cjw20/papers/thesis//home/cjw20/papers/thesis/thesis.tex does not
exist. Create?"

I suspect it is putting the path to the file in twice for some reason.

This isn't a problem for makefiles, so I suspect it could be a latex
specific thing.

I had auctex version 9.9p-13 installed, so it could be that, though
upgrading to 10.0d-1 seems to make no difference (and indeed when
installing it says: "install/auctex: Ignoring emacsen flavor xemacs21.").
so it isn't clear that auctex from the auctex package is used.

Chris
