--- Begin Message ---Package: monit I was wondering if it would make sense to hook monit into DPkg::{Pre,Post}-Invoke so that it stops monitoring on apt upgrades. My idea is that we are currently monitoring some services like "unbound" or "freeradius" from the deb packages and restart them via monit when they crash. This is of course not ideal during a upgrade, when e.g. unbound is stopped and restarted during the package upgrade. In this case, monit shouldn't try to restar the service. If that makes sense I can provide a patch for the monit package. If there is a different/better way, please tell me about it :) Cheers, Michael
