Package: bridge-utils
Version: 1.5-6
Severity: normal

The following shows an apparently unsuccessful attempt to set the forward
delay. I also have "bridge_fd 3" in /etc/network/interfaces but that doesn't
seem to work either.

I've had the same problem on an AMD64 system, but the AMD64 system in question
is running a kernel from Unstable so I reproduced the bug on a system running
a release kernel.

Ok, I'm closing it then as version 1.5-7 really solved the issue.

Regards.
