Running xmms with UTF-8 locale crashes X. When I unset LANG and LC_ALL
it runs fine.

X crashes due to a bug in the xfstt font server (#160919). About the
Japanese Language problem, it seems like a l10n problem. It's being
dealt with upstream in #97919. Seems like the Japanese patch is too big
for being applied to the current package. #48529 also applies to this
topic. We're closing.

Thank you very much for your participation,
Jose
