There's a problem with the formatted output of
/bin/ls -l if the LC_CTIME is set and the
width of the time format is not the same as
the normal ls format.
e.g.
/bin/ls -l
total 0
-rw-r----- 1 hadmut danisch 0 08.04 11:41 aa
-rw-r----- 1 hadmut danisch 0 01.01.1999 bb
the column of the filenames (aa and bb) is not indented
properly. This might be a problem of the software itself,
so it could be forwarded to the upstream authors.

This issue has been fixed for a while now, because iso date format is
used for non-c locales.
