Package: gnus
Version: N/A
Severity: important
Hi,
If I have multiple news-servers configured, and one of them breaks such that
it will accept a connection and then do nothing, then gnus will simply sit
there indefinitely saying Opening nntp server on Servername...
This is far from optimal, since I should under these circumstances be able to
read and post to the groups I read on the working news-servers. Hitting ^G
doesn't work either, since gnus retries, and then gives up entirely without
offering me the groups from the working news-server.
