Hi,
I'm using ncurses applications. They draw lines (e.g. for borders).
Gnome-terminal fails doing so: I get garbage.
To verify where the problem is, I also ran those applications from xterm and
putty: in both putty and xterm things look as they should.
An example of the garbage output is:
