Hi Jean-Philippe Garcia, hi Laurent,

I have just re-worked debian/copyright of the libssh package in Debian and made it DEP-5 compliant.

However, I encountered an important problem. The debian/* folder is licensed as GPL-2+ whereas the reset of the upstream code is either licensed as LGPL-2.1+ with OpenSSL exception or as BSD-2-clause (one file) or as BSD-3-clause (cmake scripts).

To make patch proposal to upstream as smooth as possible I recommend relicensing the debian/* folder under all licenses used by upstream. To achieve this, I need consensus from both of you (as you are mentioned as copyright holders for debian/* of the libssh package in Debian.

Please reply to this mail and give feedback and--if possible--your agreement to relicense debian/* of this package.

Greets+Regards,
Mike
