Because the default country for en (US) is not a Euro country, Ireland is
probably the only country that does not automatically get the @euro suffix
for LANG in /etc/environment ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
This should be fixed post-sarge. The best option is probably to add a
locale-chooser that has good defaults and is shown at medium or lower
priority.

Installs for en_IE have @euro added for a long time now....Strange
