Package: bash-doc
Version: 3.1dfsg-6
Severity: important
"This package contains the distributable documentation, all the
examples and the main changelog."
This doesn't explain where the user can actually find bash's
documentation, and it is not clear to a non-Debian-expert why the
documentation is not distributable. Suggested wording:
"The package contains the DFSG-free documentation, all the examples and
the main changelog. The full bash reference manual cannot be a part of
Debian for legal reasons; it can be read online at
<http://www.gnu.org/software/bash/manual/>."
If I ever manage to find a sponsor for bash-doc-nonfree then you could
add "It can also be found in the bash-doc-nonfree package in the
non-free section.".
