--- Begin Message ---Package: mediawiki Version: 1:1.19.14+dfsg-1 Severity: important Hello, mediawiki 1:1.19.15+dfsg-0+deb7u1 is incompatible with mediawiki-classes 1:1.19.14+dfsg-1 in testing. During installation of mediawiki 1:1.19.15+dfsg-0+deb7u1 in testing, I have the error: " dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/mediawiki_1%3a1.19.15+dfsg-0+deb7u1_all.deb (--unpack): tentative de remplacement de « /usr/share/mediawiki/includes/libs/IEUrlExtension.php », qui appartient aussi au paquet mediawiki-classes 1:1.19.14+dfsg-1 " Thank you. You should be installing mediawiki from jessie/sid instead. Downgrading is not supported (at least, David Prévot did not add any code to support that), and will not be supported. What *is* there is Breaks relationships, but due to the nature of the stable security updates, these no longer trigger. I’ve got no idea how to fix that except bumping the epoch for the packages with the package split, but we cannot do that retroactively. Once you upgraded to a version of src:mediawiki with the package split, you have to stay on that “branch”. I admit that this ⇓ situation is a tad unfortunate: Debian -- Package Search Results -- mediawiki (p1 of 10) Package mediawiki * [48]squeeze (oldstable) (web): website engine for collaborative work 1:1.15.5-2squeeze6: all * [49]wheezy (stable) (web): website engine for collaborative work 1:1.19.15+dfsg-0+deb7u1 [security]: all * [50]jessie (testing) (web): website engine for collaborative work 1:1.19.14+dfsg-1: all * [51]sid (unstable) (web): website engine for collaborative work 1:1.19.15+dfsg-1: all But in another two days, according to the PTS, mediawiki from sid will migrate to testing, which you can then use. (Or just install the package from sid right now.) Anyway, this is just an intermediate state, and to be expected due to the way Debian repositories work. bye, //mirabilos -- tarent solutions GmbH Rochusstraße 2-4, D-53123 Bonn • http://www.tarent.de/ Tel: +49 228 54881-393 • Fax: +49 228 54881-235 HRB 5168 (AG Bonn) • USt-ID (VAT): DE122264941 Geschäftsführer: Dr. Stefan Barth, Kai Ebenrett, Boris Esser, Alexander Steeg
