Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:2.20.3-1

When i login to gnome or try to change something in
gnome-keyboard-properties, I get this error:

Error activating XKB configuration.
It can happen under various circumstances:
- a bug in libxklavier library
- a bug in X server (xkbcomp, xmodmap utilities)
- X server with incompatible libxkbfile implementation

X server version data:
The X.Org Foundation
10300000

If you report this situation as a bug, please include:
- The result of xprop -root | grep XKB
- The result of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd

  Here are the results as requested in the dialog:

$ xprop -root | grep XKB
_XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "xorg", "pc104", "us", "", ""
_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "xorg", "pc104", "us", "", ""
$ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
 layouts = [us,pk,af    ps]
 model = pc105
 options = [grp grp:alt_shift_toggle,eurosign   eurosign:e]
 overrideSettings = true
$

  Also i am unable to switch between different layouts. I am using
most up2date Debian GNU/Linux testing, kernel  2.6.22-2-686 and libc6
2.7-6.
