Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:3.2.2-2
Severity: normal
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch gnome-control-center
2. Go to Sound page
3. On the Sound Effects tab, switch back and forth between the alert
sounds by clicking on them, for example:
1) Switch from Default to Bark,
2) then back from Bark to Default,
3) then again from Default to Bark.
(The "Default" entry matters, for the other one any other will do)
This always results in either a crash such as:
[18732.384775] gnome-control-c[27071]: segfault at 72656c65 ip b6f403f9
sp bfd42170 error 4 in libgobject-2.0.so.0.3000.2[b6f2c000+50000]
[42486.668654] gnome-control-c[27824]: segfault at c096e9bc ip b6cac54b
sp 98d99fe0 error 5 in libc-2.13.so[b6c3e000+156000]
or errors such as:
*** glibc detected *** gnome-control-center: corrupted double-linked
list: 0xab812bc8 ***
*** glibc detected *** /usr/bin/gnome-control-center: double free or
corruption (fasttop): 0x082e5a10 ***
