I have two users, who should be able to read, but not write the other
users calendar. Access is via htpasswd, rights type is owner_write.
Access to the own calendar works fine with iceowl-extension, but when
accessing the other users calendar, the password dialogue is repeated
again and again.
The problem disappeared with an ad-hoc backport of the jessie version
0.8-1.

Thanks for the bugreport.
As you mention yourself that the bug was fixed in 0.8-1, I close it at
that version.
Since it is not a security-related issue I suspect it won't be fixed for
stable, unfortunately.
